Does Orleans Guest House rent for longer stays??
That answer is YES! We know that sometimes circumstances come along where a “longer” stay may be needed. Whether it’s a corporate stay for business, or just a period of time in which you just need to get from point A to B without the hassle of furnishing a temporary space, opening utilities, or committing to a longer-termed lease.
Here are answers to some common questions you may have if you need a beautifully furnished place to live (turn-key furnished!) with all utilities paid, including electricity, gas, water, cable, landline AND wifi! Enjoy the convenience of no contracts to sign for opening new, temporary service.
PETS?
Yes (mostly, that is), and only at The Crescent
OFFICE SPACE?
Yep, got that too — at The Crescent along with an HP scanner, copier, printer, fax.
ANY STORAGE SPACE AVAILABLE?
YES to that too, and temp-controlled. The square footage required would have to be worked out, of course. But, another advantage is 24h access to it if and when you need it!
PARKING?
Each unit comes with one off-street spot, up to about the size of one large SUV (sorry, no RVs)
WHAT ABOUT LAUNDRY?
Yes, stackable high-efficiency LG washer and dryer on site!
DO I SIGN A LEASE?
Month-to-month lease, essentially. But, if you plan on anything greater than 30 days, we can adjust up in increments of 2-weeks. If, however, you are lucky enough to know up front exactly how long your stay will be, we can work in a discount for 90-day commitments or more.
HOW LONG I CAN STAY?
As long as you like…
WHO CLEANS?
You do — 1st clean is on us! If, however you would like cleaning services, that can be worked out as well, in whatever intervals you prefer.
WHO COOKS?
You do — the kitchen is extremely nice AND well equipped. If you are a busy executive, or just prefer to leave the grocery shopping and cooking to someone else- those services can be arranged.
WHAT ABOUT GUESTS?
Sure, guests are welcome. Over-night stays too. But extended periods (2 weeks or greater) will require modification to the rental agreement.
MAY A COMPANY LEASE THE SPACE AND MAKE IT AVAILABLE TO DIFFERENT RENTERS?
Absolutely, it will just require some modification to the lease agreement.
WHAT COMES @ “NO EXTRA CHARGE”?
Furnishings
ALL utilities, including water, electricity (The Crescent is on a separate central air/heating system), gas, land-line phone for personal use and fax with TV/DVD combos in living room and each bedroom
High-speed internet, copy, scan, print & fax, and cable TV
Off-street parking for one car or SUV
WHAT EXTRAS COME WITH A FEE?
Cleaning (based on frequency)
Laundry (based on frequency)
Cooking and/or grocery shopping (based on frequency)
Pets (additional $400/month for weekly professional cleaning)
Storage needs (negotiable, based on how much space you need)
